    The Cisco Kid and his English-mangling sidekick Pancho travel the old West in the grand tradition of the “Lone Ranger,” righting wrongs and fighting injustice wherever they run into it. A historic show, it was the first television program to be filmed in color.

    Starring Duncan Renaldo and Leo Carrillo, the pair is always ready to help those in need, even when crooked law enforcement will not. They fight corruption without violence. Their pride and humor has created a legend in the hearts of generations of television viewers.

    Their horses, Cisco's Diablo and Pancho's Loco are also part of the show. Actors Renaldo, a native of Spain, and Carrillo, a native of Los Angeles, were the first regular Hispanic television stars on a series. Nosotros, the organization dedicated to improving the image of Hispanic-Americans on a national basis, has presented Duncan Renaldo a Special Life Achievement Award for being instrumental in changing the image of Hispanics in the media.
