A sinister gypsy fortune-teller named Madam Estrella, with the help of her sister, Carmelita, a stripper, and her hunchback servant Ortega, victimize innocent people who come to the midway. They scorch their victim's faces with acid, disfiguring them so they look like hideous monsters, and then locking their victims in cages like abused pets.
